Luiz Carlos Trabuco’s Career at Bradesco

The appointment of Luiz Carlos Trabuco as the president of Bradesco marks a new chapter, not only in the professional career of the company veteran. It marked a new chapter for Bradesco; one of Brazil’s leading private banks in terms of asset value and market share. Having dedicated his whole professional career to Bradesco and its affiliates, Mr. Cappi’s longevity at the company has led him to rise through the ranks of Brazil’s corporate sector. For Bradesco, it is an opportunity to forge ahead in an economy that has recently suffered some turbulence. Moreover, it comes on the backdrop of close to a decade of operational strategy built primarily around acquisition of banks by Bradesco to build its value and market share.

Constricted by market forces and taking over the leadership of his predecessor Márcio Cypriano, Luiz Carlos Trabuco embarked on building internal growth. His organic growth strategy is hinged on opening an additional 211 branches of Bradesco to add to the burgeoning operational presence.
